This listing is for one particular teacup. One of a kind, you get the one on the picture!
These marbled mugs are made with three kinds of stoneware clay. This technique is called agate ware or marbeling. Three kinds of clay are briefly wedged together, then thrown on the wheel to reveal a surprise marbled pattern. The fun and the challenge in agate ware is that you only have one shot! If messed up, you won't be able to get another marbled mug, because the clays get mixed together and the marbled pattern will be lost.
